Hello! Forwarding a grant opportunity that might be of interest. (This one was not shared in March's MI Farm to school newsletter.) The deadline for this round of Food Justice for Kids Prize funding is April 28, 2026.
Food Justice for Kids Prize
The Food Justice for Kids Prize is a multi-donor pooled fund, supporting projects that improve access to food and nutrition for children across the U.S. The grant focuses on areas such as food systems, nutrition education, and school-based food programs, supporting work that helps kids learn about, grow, and prepare healthy foods, and improve access to school meals. Funding can be used to support program implementation, educational activities, partnerships, and resources needed to expand or strengthen food access efforts. Eligible applicants include schools non-profits, tribal organizations, and other community-based or government-affiliated organization across the U.S. Awardees can receive up to $100,000 over 2 years. Check website for timeline details.
