This is the second in the 12-part Webinar Series and will be focused on strategies to introduce local foods to young children. The first webinar, an Introduction to Farm to Early Care and Education, was held Monday November 28 and is available for viewing. November 30, 2016 1:00 pm – Strategies for introducing new foods
The second webinar in the series will be presented by Julie Alpers-Preneta. Julie is the chef at Leelanau Children's Center, which has been a MI Farm to School Grant Program grantee since 2013. Leelanau Children's Center purchases much of their food from local farms, and this webinar will highlight successful strategies they've used to introduce children to new local foods.
