October is National Farm to School Month!

Over the remaining weeks of October, we will continue to celebrate National Farm to School Month. This year’s theme, “Who’s at the Table?”, acknowledges and celebrates the many people who are involved in bringing food to the table.

There are many ways to observe National Farm to School Month, including celebrating with events like the Michigan Apple Crunch.

  • Visit the National Farm to School Network’s (NFSN) Farm to School Month page for resources such as fact sheets, posters, and a toolkit for inspiration.
  • Register for NFSN’s Movement Meeting on October 27th, featuring speakers from across the country sharing how they have strengthened their leadership and built power in their communities through farm to school and ECE efforts.
  • If you haven’t already, register your Michigan Apple Crunch event bit.ly/MIAppleCrunch2022 for October 13th, or any date in October. Then follow along and share your photos and stories on Facebook @miapplecrunch.
