MFIN Network Meeting Tomorrow & More

I'm sharing some upcoming events below. Tomorrow at 3 pm is our Michigan Farm to Institution Network (MFIN) Virtual Network Meeting and it may be of interest to some of you as we'll learn about MI Market Maker, a free, online directory that matches farmers and local food suppliers with buyers. We will share how MarketMaker can be useful for making farm to institution connections in Michigan, including through the new Cultivate Michigan MarketMaker affiliation.

Farms and Food Suppliers Webinar: Wednesday, July 26th from 12:00 – 12:30 pm
We will show you how to set up or update your MarketMaker account and profile to promote your business to institutions.
Institutional Buyers Webinar: Thursday, July 27th from 12:00 – 12:30 pm
We will show you how to set up or update your MarketMaker account and profile to optimally use the database to find farms and food businesses.

Make Food Not Waste is hosting their annual Too Good To Waste Dinner on Thursday, July 25th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Coriander Kitchen and Farm in Detroit.
