Forward Contracting: Plan in advance for farm to school success

By working with farmers to coordinate plantings and deliveries well in advance, schools and early childhood programs can have a more dependable supply of local foods for their meal programs and farmers can have more dependable market outlets.  This webinar will discuss the different ways schools and early childhood programs can use a forward contract when purchasing local foods, how to get started, and the benefits for both farmers and schools and early childhood programs
