Greetings all!
We are just less than a month away from our annual Farm to School Trainings! These trainings will be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge on farm to school and local purchasing strategies for K-12 school and early childhood programs and connect with others working to increase the amount of Michigan grown food available in school meals!
Trainings will include:
• An overview of Farm to School
• Digging deep into USDA rules and regulations around local purchasing,
• Creating seasonal menus and utilizing local produce,
• Opportunities to share innovative practices from across the region.
More information is available on the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems website. Trainings are free to attend, however registration is required.
