You're re-invited! Wernette Beef farm tour on Monday, July 16th!
Register today for the farm tour of Wernette Beef on Monday, July 16th, 2018, hosted by the MI Meat Network in partnership with the Michigan Farm to Institution Network. This is a special opportunity for food service buyers and their value chain partners to visit a working mid-sized cattle ranch and learn about how beef is produced, marketed, and distributed and Michigan. (We may still see some late calves!) Wernette Beef is run by the women of Wernette Cattle Company, which raises Angus–Tarentaise cattle on lush pasture in Remus, MI to supply local markets with quality beef. A bus travel option will be available from East Lansing to Remus (sign up in the registration link). This tour is free to attend and lunch will be provided by Fireside Grille.
Registration is required to attend; please register here.
Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes as this is a working farm!
