School Garden Essentials Opportunity

 SNAP-Ed at Michigan Fitness Foundation is providing funding to local and regional organizations to promote nutrition education and physical activity. 

Eligibility criteria: 

This opportunity is open to non-profit organizations and community-based groups that meet all of the following:

• Operate in Michigan.
• Are currently implementing, or prepared to implement, nutrition, gardening, and/or physical activity programming within their communities.
• Already work with SNAP participants, individuals who can receive SNAP benefits or other means-tested federal assistance programs, and/or individuals residing in communities or attending schools with a significant low-income population (See the Eligibility document for details).

Interest forms will be accepted until July 31 or until available funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
