MDARD listening sessions coming up!

Farm to Family Listening Tour: What You’ve Taught Us | August 28 (10-11:30 AM) | Join Online via Zoom

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's (MDARD) Farm to Family Program supports Michigan's local food system by offering different grants, networking opportunities, and marketing consultations to farmers and food businesses. This winter, the program held a statewide farmer listening session tour to better understand the greatest challenges and opportunities facing Michigan producers, and to help shape future programming. 

On Friday, August 28^th at 10 AM EST, the Farm to Family team will share highlights and key takeaways from the 2025-2026 listening session tour in a public Zoom webinar. The session will cover insights on long term food system goals, major barriers, and top funding interests identified by participants.
