Registration is now open for the 2026 Michigan Apple Crunch!

Join the festivities by crunching into a locally-grown Michigan Apple on Crunch Day, October 15, or any day in October.

What is the Michigan Apple Crunch?

The Michigan Apple Crunch is an annual event supported by MSU Extension, the Michigan Farm to Institution Network, and the Michigan Apple Committee to promote National Farm to School Month and celebrate the iconic Michigan Apple.

Thousands of participants from K-12 schools, Early Care and Education sites, and other institutions and organizations across the state register to crunch into a local Michigan apple on Crunch Day.
