Happy National Farm to School Month!

Celebrate Farm to School this October
October is National Farm to School Month, and there are so many ways to celebrate!
Rooted in Community: Growing Stronger, Together

Check out the National Farm to School Network’s (NFSN) website for resources related to this year's theme – including posters with a new design - templates, and ideas to use throughout the month.

If you are planning a Farm to School Month activity, add it to the national calendar at the bottom of the webpage and use the hashtags #F2SMonth and #farmtoschool when you share on social media.
Join NFSN's Movement Meeting on October 26, 3-5 pm EST. This virtual event, which is free and open to the public, is an opportunity to showcase farm to school across the country and set intention with the farm to school movement in the coming year.
Michigan Apple Crunch

Join the Michigan Farm to Institution Network and MSU Extension in the Michigan Apple Crunch on Thursday, October 12, 2023, or any day in October. Each year, thousands of participants from K-12 schools, early care and education sites, and other institutions and organizations across the state and Great Lakes region register to crunch into a Michigan apple on Crunch Day.
Register to be sure your crunch event is counted and show your support for Michigan farmers and farm to school/institution programs!
