Save the Date for the 2026 Michigan Apple Crunch!

Mark your calendar! The 2026 Michigan Apple Crunch will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15!

The Michigan Apple Crunch is a statewide event that promotes local food and farm to institution programs by encouraging as many people as possible to crunch into a juicy Michigan Apple on the same day. We encourage any large or small institutions, businesses, organizations, or communities to register for the event and join in the fun. Michigan is a top apple producing state and the Crunch is a great way to introduce students, employees, and community members to the benefits of local sourcing and local apples. 

 

Look for the Crunch registration to be released in August along with an updated Crunch Guide and new Michigan Apple Crunch resources. Please make sure to follow the Michigan Apple Crunch Facebook page for the latest updates and to share pictures of your Crunch when you celebrate on October 15^th.  We’re grateful to the Michigan Apple Committee for partnering with MSU Extension and the Michigan Farm to Institution Network to support the Crunch this year!
