- Schools in 43 Michigan counties are eligible to apply for the 10 Cents A Meal grant, but not for long! Apps close at 9 a.m. this coming Monday, August 13th.
- UPDATED: A tip sheet designed to clearly guide schools and their allies through the application process has been updated. Click here.
- (If for any reason the tip sheet link doesn't work, then just go to the Tools for Schools tab at tencentsmichigan.org, and click on the 10 Cents Grant Application link.

Note: 10 Cents a Meal for School Kids & Farms is a state pilot program that provides schools with up to 10 cents per meal in match funding to purchase and serve Michigan-grown fruits, vegetables, and legumes. 10 Cents funding is available to schools located in five of Michigan's 10 Prosperity Regions. Here are the counties for each of the eligible prosperity regions:
Region 2: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Wexford
Region 4: Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, Ottawa
Region 6: Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Tuscola
Region 8: Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, Van Buren
Region 9: Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, Washtenaw
