Forwarding a youth food justice film competition - now open!

Nourishing Narratives (A project of Mosaic Film Experience supported by Newman's Own Foundation) is a film competition that invites students to explore food justice through storytelling using only their mobile devices. This national competition is a great opportunity for young filmmakers ages 13-18 to build critical thinking, creativity, and digital media skills while addressing real-world issues. Students are invited to submit 2-3 minute mobile films on the theme "Better Food Futures" for the chance to win $1,000 and more!  Films can explore innovative solutions, showcase the impact of organizations and individuals working to create a just, equitable, and fair food system for all.
Submissions Open: March 6, 2026 / Deadline: April 12, 2026
