Seasonal Menu Planning for Farm to School

Michigan's diverse agriculture industry allows for lots of opportunities to incorporate local food into your menus. This webinar will help you get beyond the basics and describe strategies and examples of how to adapt your school menu based on Michigan fruit and vegetable availability. This is also a great opportunity to dive deep into resources from the recent Making Michigan Recipes Work training.
Participants will be introduced to the new Making Michigan Recipes Work resources from MSU Extension and Cultivate Michigan that can help in planning a menu that matches Michigan's growing seasons.
